NIER Ingegneria is increasing the technical team of the System Engineering department and is looking for smart, flexible and engaged people to be hired as junior or senior Systems engineer.

Requirements:
- Master's Degree in engineering (preferably Electronic, Electric,Nuclear, Mechanics,Aerospace);
- Capability to read and write technical documentation (mainly in English);
- Analytical attitude and communication skills;
- Willingness for national and international travel.

Relevant previous experience:
- Functional Safetyfor safety-related industry (preferably railway, nuclear, automotive, aerospace);
- Reliability-Availability-Maintainability(RAM) engineering;
- Requirement Management and Verification;
- FEM and CFD analysis;
- Compliance to standards and norms.

Added values:
- Knowledge of Functional safety standards (for railway, automotive, and/or aerospace applications);
- Knowledge of Signalling Principle and main equipment for Railway systems (e.g. ERTMS);
- Knowledge of main methods (e.g. FMEA/FMECA/HAZOP), techniques (e.g. RBD, FTA) and software tools (preferably Isograph-FaultTree+, Reliasoft-Blocksim or similar) for RAM and Safety analysis;
- Knowledge of software tools for Requirement Management and Verification (e.g. DOORS, POLARION);
- Knowledge of software tools for FEM and CFD analysis (preferably ANSYS);
- Knowledge of European Directives (e.g. Machinery, Pressure Equipment, Electromagnetic compatibility);
- Knowledge of programming languages (preferably C/C++, Python) and data analysis and modelling tools (preferably MATLAB / Simulink);
- Ph.D. concerning FEM and CFD applications.
