JUNIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER - BOLOGNA-NAPOLI

WE NEED YOU FOR THESE ACTIVITIES:

NIER Ingegneria is increasing the technical team of the Systems Engineering department and is looking for a junior Systems engineer to join the technical team working for the railway industry.

PLACE OF WORK

  • First-period location (6-12 months): BOLOGNA.
  • Definitive location: BOLOGNA, NAPOLI, MILANO.

Preferred definitive location to be specified within the proposal for interview.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Execution of technical activities for the development of railway and metro equipment and systems that could concern:
  • Requirement Management and Verification activities;
  • Verification of compliance to standards and norms;
  • Functional Safety analysis;
  • Reliability-Availability-Maintainability analysis.

The offer is valid for both gender according to D. Lgs. n. 198/2006 and D. Lgs. n. 215 e n. 216 of 2003 referring to gender equality.

YOU ARE PERFECT FOR US IF YOU HAVE:

  • Master’s Degree in engineering (preferably Electronic, Electric, Nuclear, Mechanics, Aerospace, Biomedical).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent Italian (spoken and written).
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written, at least level B1).
  • Problem solving skills, goal orientation, flexibility, strong motivation, ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness for national travel.

IF YOU ALSO HAVE THESE QUALITIES, WE APPRECIATE IT:

  • Knowledge of railway regulatory framework, signaling principles, and architecture of systems (e.g. ERTMS).
  • Knowledge of international standards for functional safety in general (IEC61508) and specifically for railway (EN50126, EN50129), nuclear (IEC 61226, IEC 61513), automotive (ISO26262), process (IEC61513, IEC61511), manufacturing (IEC62061) industries.
  • Knowledge of European Directives (e.g. Machinery, Electromagnetic compatibility).
  • Knowledge of software tools for Requirement Management and Verification (e.g. DOORS, POLARION).
  • Knowledge in programming by DOORS Extension Language (DXL).
  • Knowledge in RAMS engineering methods (e.g. FMEA/FMECA), techniques (e.g. RBD, FTA) and software tools (e.g. Isograph-FaultTree+, ALD-RAM Commander, Reliasoft-Blocksim or similar).
  • Willingness for international travel.
