NIER is an innovative SME (as per Law 35/2015), an accredited Laboratory of the High Technology Network of Emilia-Romagna, part of the BI-REX Competence Centre of Industry Plan 4.0 (the first established in Italy), participates directly in European, national and regional research programmes, and has active collaborations with major universities and research centres.
