Integrated Environment and Safety Management System
Brief
Design and implementation of the Safety Management System in accordance with the UNI ISO 45001 standard, maintenance and updating of the Environmental Management System documentation in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard, services for conducting HSE audits on 9 company sites (located in Milan and Rome), training of workers on HSE Management System issues, technical support during audits by the Certification Body, ensuring consistency with BMW Group policies.
Project challenge
To support the client in the timely Verification and Monitoring of Compliance, in the growth, development and enhancement of the competencies of key personnel and the reorganisation of documentation within the company sites.
Solution
definition of a specific organisational structure for the planning and management of the related activities, ensuring full and continuous service operation at a high technical and professional level.
Management and coordination of a competent, flexible work group capable of intensive presence in the Milan and Rome offices, standardising the approach and the assessments made.
Execution phases
Various actions were performed as part of the HSE Management System activities:
• HSE legislative compliance audit on 9 sites;
- Support in updating procedures, operating instructions and forms;
• Internal audits in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001 standards;
- Assistance to third party audits;
• Educational activities including:
– Training on the UNI ISO 45001 standard for top management;
– Training on the UNI ISO 45001 standard and the reorganisation of the documentation reserved for operational and workshop personnel;
Achieved results
: Maintenance of the ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System and certification of the Safety Management System according to UNI ISO 45001 ( in progress ).
